This feature allows cleaning staff to perform unplanned cleaning tasks during their rounds. At soobr, we refer to this feature as self-cleaning.
Settings
To use this feature, the following settings must be configured in the Cockpit:
- Tour: In Tour management, the cleaning tour type must be set to Self cleaning for the tours.
- Activity Type: You need activity types of the Cleaning without scheduling or Cleaning without scheduling (self-cleaning only) variety; these must in turn be enabled for the area types on which self-cleaning is to be performed.
💙Soobr Advice: Create separate categories for self-cleaning; this makes it easier to assign them to tours.
Self-cleaning
If the function is activated for a tour and that tour has areas assigned with self-cleaning settings, the tour can carried out just like any other tour. Areas are scheduled, and these can be completed as usual.
On all areas where activity types of the Cleaning without scheduling or Cleaning without scheduling (self-cleaning only) types are active, self-cleaning can be performed in addition to the scheduled cleaning.
If there are areas that are not scheduled but have self-cleaning tasks active, self-cleaning can also be performed on these areas.
Areas that are not scheduled but have self-cleaning assigned to them are displayed in grey in the app.
Please note:
- In contrast to the scheduled cleaning, self-cleaning cannot be marked as pending once it has been completed.
- In contrast to the planned cleaning, only the selected tasks are completed, all other tasks are not booked as completed.
- If tasks are planned on an area (Planning system), these tasks must be performed first. Afterward, self-cleaning can be carried out.
Display in the app
If you select an area that does not need to be cleaned in the tour, the area can now be cleaned anyway. To do this, click on the blue Clean anyway button.
All categories assigned to the tour that contain activity types of the Cleaning without scheduling and Cleaning without scheduling (self-cleaning only) type are displayed.
If the cleaning is completed, the area will appear with a dark green in the app.
Display in tour activities
The cleaning is displayed on the overview as a normal cleaning. In the area analysis (click on area), the info icon is displayed with the info text Cleaning triggered by cleaning staff.
Additional Setting
If you want the cleaning staff to be able to perform self-cleaning even when a scheduled cleaning is planned, you can enable the Display selection of services for area setting at the tour level in Tour management.
In the app, it will then look like this:
