At the Economic entity level in the Tours tab, you can create and edit tours, and assign areas to them.
Tours
The Tours tab contains the following views:
- Allocation overview
- Allocation per tour
- Tour management
- Tour generator
Allocation Overview
The Allocation Overview displays the individual floors and areas within the economic entity in tabular form. Using the drop-down menus at the top, you can filter by building, area type, special areas, allocation and categories.
You can access further filters by clicking on the Show advanced filters box. Here, you can filter by area in square metres, frequency and floor.
If the Show Projection tick box is ticked, the right-hand margin will also show how much time is required, according to the projection, to clean the floors or areas on a weekly basis.
When the drop-down menus for the floors are opened, various details about the individual areas and their allocation are displayed.
- To the right of the name and the area type, the abbreviations of the category names are displayed, indicating which categories of areas are currently assigned to a tour.
- Next to this, the highest frequency of all tasks in this area is shown.
- The middle column shows the estimated time required per week to clean this area.
- On the right-hand side, you can see which tour the area is assigned to. If it says Select tour, the area is not currently assigned to any tour. Flexible (2) indicates that the area is assigned to several tours. The number in brackets shows how many tours have one or more categories from this area. Flexible does not necessarily mean that an area is split between two or more tours. The algorithm determines which tour carries out the cleaning. For example, if an area is permanently assigned to one tour, but another tour only carries out machine floor cleaning in that area, then the status Flexible would also apply here. If only a tour name (e.g. Tour 1) is shon, then the area is assigned only to that tour.
Allocation per tour
Unlike the Allocation Overview view, the Allocation per tour window displays the areas broken down by the tours to which they belong. If areas are assigned to more than one tour, they are displayed in both tours. If there are areas that are not assigned to any tour, these are displayed in the top entry.
In addition to the information already described above, such as the areas frequency or the time required for cleaning on a weekly basis, the window also specifies how much time the tour requires each week to clean the areas assigned to it. If an area is assigned to multiple tours, the time required is divided by the number of assigned tours (for more detailed explanations, see the article Projection). In addition, the time required is compared with the maximum duration set for the tour (see also Creating and editing tours), and if the time required exceeds the time available, the number is highlighted in red.
Tour management
In Tour management, tours can be created, specified, edited and deleted. The article Creating tours explains how to create tours, whilst the article Editing and deleting tours explains how to edit and delete tours.
Furthermore, simulations are launched in this view.
Tour generator
The Tour generator can be used to automatically assign areas to tours based on the projection. The article Tour generator explains how this works and what other options are available.
