A special surface is created if a surface has different attributes with respect to the generic area type.
Special areas
Possible reasons for a special areas are:
- Execution of cleaning varies to generic area types
- Different cleaning services
- Different performance figures
To keep the number of generic areas manageable, special areas are generated.
Special areas are structured under the generic area type. A generic area as well as the special areas below it form a group of rooms in the soobr cockpit.
You have three options for creating special area types:
- Create special areas in the Schedule of service
- Create special areas using the area tool
- Creating special areas over the generic area types
Creating special areas in the Schedule of service
In the Cleaning process/Schedule of service level, after activating the editing function using Edit button, you can create a special area using the three-dot menu of a generic area.
To do this, you must give the new special area type a unique name.
The new special area type has been created and can now be customised.
The Save button saves the changes you have made.
Create special areas using the area tool
To create a special area, first select the economic entity in the main menu and then the cleaning areas section.
In the building plan, click on the area to be defined as a special area. In the area processing mask, click Manage special areas.
The mask »Administration of special areas« appears and a new mask opens with a click on + Create new cleaning area type.
Here you name the special area and then click on Save.
The created special area is subordinated to the desired areatype.
Then you have to scroll to the bottom, and then by clicking on Back to surface processing you get back to the editing mask.
On the appearing mask, the area type and the selected special area are selected. Subsequently, priorities and performance figures are specified and the performance types for the special area are adjusted. With Save the settings are applied.
Creating special areas over the generic area types
Special areas can also be created in the Area types tab. This can be done using the three-dot menu to the right of a generic area type:
As with the other two options, the new special area type must be given a unique name. Once the special area type has been created, it can be edited like a generic type.
