What is a business entity?

Business entities are an important part of the soobr data model and form the top level there. Thus, they often act as a starting point when setting up a building.

A business entity is defined in soobr as one or more buildings that are considered as a unit from a cleaning perspective. For example, if a campus with three buildings is implemented in soobr, a business entity is opened for it. However, a business entity can just as well consist of only one building, if only this building is converted with soobr. 

To open a business entity or to change main settings of a business entity, a Zendesk ticket is created.
