At the area level, it is possible to configure additional settings specific to each area.
Possible settings
The following additional settings can be configured at the area level:
- Edit reference ID and/or area name
- Marking
- Correction factor
- Cleaning time window
- Create special area type
To configure these settings, click on the area and then on the blue Edit Button. Click the Close button to save the settings.
Adjust reference ID and/or area name
If the reference ID differs from the one imported via the building plan upload, it can only be adjusted manually here.
The area name can also be adjusted in the same way. If several area names need to be adjusted, this can also be done by uploading the room book.
Marking
If you want the label (area name/room name) or the stored icon to be displayed on the area type on the building plan in the cockpit and in the app, you can set this there.
Correction factor
If the square metres of an area imported via the plan upload are incorrect, they can be corrected via the room book upload or by entering a correction factor.
Another use case for the correction factor is when the floor space is heavily cluttered, significantly reducing the cleaning area.
Example
A classic example of a room whose cleaning-relevant area is significantly smaller than the total area is a storage room. If the storage room is 20 m2 in size, but the shelves block 10 m2, i.e. half of the area, the correction factor is 0.5 (calculation: 10 m2/20 m2 = 0.5).
Cleaning time window
If an area needs to be cleaned within a certain period of time, this can also be specified here. To do this, the Earliest cleaning time and the Latest cleaning time must be defined.
If a cleaning time window is defined, this area will be displayed in purple on the app during the set period.
Create a special area type
If, whilst assigning an area type, it is determind that this area differs from the generic area type, a special area type can be created directly in the Area window using the Special area type drop-down menu:
- Click the Special area type drop-down menu
