Assigning area types to areas

Each cleaning area must be assigned an area type so that the system can plan the cleaning performance.

The assignment can be carried out under the Economic entity menu item, on the Areas tab. On this tab, the assignment can be carried out in three ways:

Via the list view
Via the building plan
Via multi-selection

Assignment via the list view

Assignment via the list view works as follows:

Open the floor using the arrow on the right
Select the bubble in front of the area
In the edit bar that appears, select the area type/special area type
Save

💡 If the same area type is to be asigned to several areas, it is possible to select multiple areas.

Assignment via the building plan

Assignment via the building plan works as follows:

Select an area on the building plan
In the Area window, select the area type from the Area Type dropdown menu
Optional: Select a special area type from the Special area type dropdown menu
Save

💡 With this method, further definitions can be set for the area even before the area type is saved.

Assignment using multi-selection

When using multi-selection for assignment, you can assign multiple areas to the same area type in a single step.

Activate multi-selection via the three-dot menu above the building plan
Select areas in the building plan
In the editing bar, select the area type and, if requested, the special area type
Save

ℹ️ Multi-selection remain enabled; it it is no longer required, it can be disabled via the three-dot menu.
