With the Analytics tool »Areas time spent« you can analyze the time spent by the cleaner on an area. This is helpful to check the performance figures, cost calculations and employee planning. To activate this tool, please contact the Customer Support via Zendesk ticket.
Recording cleaning time in the app
If the area dialog is displayed in the app, the time until the area is completed is recorded in the background. If the area is not completed, the time is discarded.
Analysis in the cockpit
The analysis can be found under the Analytics menu item in the Areas time spent tab.
The calendar icon can be used to set the period that you want to analyze.
In order to be able to perform specific analyses, filters can be set for the following configurations and
can be set:
- Cleaning area types
- Cleaning categories
- Activity types
- Tours
- Cleaning areas
Executions per day/Time spent on area per day
By default (without filtering), the number of cleaned areas per day (blue column) and the average cleaning time spent on the areas of this day (yellow column) of the past four weeks are shown in the column diagram Executions per day/Time spent on area per day.
Execution performance number [m2/h]
This diagram reflects the effective cleaning time per area type as a performance figure.
If filtered by an area type, this diagram reflects the performance number (calculated based on the cleaning time in the filtered period) of the cleaning categories active on the area type.
Details
In the diagrams Executions per day/Time spent on area per day and Execution performance number [m2/h], a list view with details on the cleaning executions appears when clicking on one of the columns in the diagram.
Here, detailed information about the cleaning execution is shown:
- time when the area was set to green on the tablet (completion date).
- details about the area in general (building, floor, area (reference ID), area type)
- which tour cleaned the area
- how much time has passed since the previously cleaned area was completed (time since last completion), this is composed as follows: Cleaning time on the area + Cleaning time not on the area = Time since last completion.
- how long the area that was cleaned was open on the tablet (cleaning time on area)
- how much time has passed since the last completion in which the area was not open on the tablet (cleaning time not on area). This time may have been used for breaks, walking, setting up the cleaning trolley and/or the like (this must be clarified internally and cannot be done by soobr).
If you scroll to the bottom of this list with the bar on the right, the total of the respective day is displayed at the bottom of the columns «Time to last closing», «Cleaning time on area» und «Cleaning time not on area».
Filter
As soon as filtering takes place, for example according to an area type, further diagrams appear:
- Execution performance number [m2/h]This diagram reflects the effective cleaning time per area of the filtered area type as performance number.
- TrendThis diagram reflects the course of the performance number in the filtered period.

Filter
For analyses on area types, tours and areas, it is sufficient to filter the desired period and the area type, tour or area.
For cleaning categories that are only active on one area type, it is also sufficient to filter only the desired time period and cleaning category.
For cleaning categories that are active on several area types, but only the data for cleaning categories on certain area types is required, the area type and the cleaning category must be filtered.
This also applies to filtering for activity types: if these are active on several area types, but data is only required for the activity type on a specific area type, the area type and the activity type must also be filtered.
Show only potential invalid times
In order to be able to use the area effort as an analysis tool, it is essential that the tablet/app is used correctly by the cleaning staff.
If an area is open for less than 10 seconds and is set to green (area is clean), this can lead to falsified evaluations.
By activating the button , the potential invalid area completions (only a few seconds on the area) are displayed at a glance.

Wherever you find this icon , the data can be downloaded in .csv format.
