The Workflow Manager can be used to display various activities and their dependencies. The cleaning postponement feature makes it possible to avoid duplicate cleaning and to display only the cleaning that actually needs to be carried out.
Displacement of planned tasks
In certain scenarios, it may happen that a cleaning task already scheduled in a current tour becomes obsolete. If, for example, the area has already been cleaned by a stand-in tour or a different type of cleaning is required due to a patient discharge, this can be automatically controlled by displacement rules stored in the cockpit.
The displacement rule consists of two parts:
Trigger
A specific trigger is required to initiate displacement. There are three options available here:
- Order created: a triggered order displaces the planned cleaning. (Addition: if the order is cancelled, the previously displaced cleaning is rescheduled.
- Cleaning completed: if, for example, the ?Mechanical cleaning? category is completed by Tour B, the ?Manual floor cleaning? for Tour A is displaced.
- Self-cleaning completed: if, for example, self-cleaning is performed by Tour A, the planned cleaning for Tour B is displaced.
For the specification, it must be specified which cleaning category or activity type must be included in the displacement rule for the displacement to be triggered. In addition, it can be specified to which area types the displacement may apply.
Displacement
In the second part, it must be specified what is to be displaced and by what the displaced cleaning is to be replaced.
As with the trigger, you can set which cleaning category or activity type planned for the area should be replaced. Here, it is possible to specify several categories or activity types for replacement. In, you must define whether the replaced cleaning should be replaced by the stored frequency on the area type or a defined number of days.
Restrictions
Activities that are planned for an area based on monthly planning or multiple triggers cannot be displaced.
Similary, activities that were pending before the displacement action was triggered cannot be displaced and remain active in the area.
Editing and Deleting
Replacement rules that have already been created can be edited and/or deleted using the three-dot menu to the right of the rule.
To delete multiple displacement rules at once, select the corresponding checkboxes and cklick Delete button on the blue bar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
