The Workflow Manager can be used to display various activities and their dependencies. This makes it possible to optimise and automate internal processes with directly triggered follow-up orders.
Follow orders
In various cleaning processes, it can happen that the completion of one task leads to the next, or that a task can only be carried out once other tasks have been completed. With the follow-up orders feature, such dependencies can be displayed in the cockpit so that they are then triggered automatically.
Follow-up orders consist of two parts:
Trigger
For the follow-up order to be triggered, an action must have been triggered or completed. The following options ara available:
- Order created: a created order triggers a follow-up order
- Order completed: a completed order triggers a follow-up order.
- Self-cleaning completed: an executed self-cleaning triggers a follow-up order
In addition, the trigger must be specified. Here, you must specify which cleaning category or activity type must bestored with the trigger in order for a follow-up order to be triggered.
Follow-up order
In the second part, you set what is to be triggered as a follow-up order. Here, you define which cleaning category or activity type must be included in the follow-up order.
Restrictions
This function only works with activity types of the On Demand and Cleaning without Scheduling types.
A follow-up order must have the same level (cleaning category or activity type) as the action and reaction for both parts. It is not possible, for example, to create a follow-up order with an activity type in the cockpit for a completed order with a cleaning category.
To prevent infinite loops, it is not possible to create a follow-up order that contains a trigger which is already defined as an action in another follow-up order-one that, in turn, contains the action of the first follow-up order as its trigger.
Example
- Follow-up order 1: Activity type "Check-out cleaning" triggers the activity "Bed pickup" as a follow-up order
- Follow-up order 2: Activity type "Bed pickup" triggers the activity "Check-out cleaning" as a follow-up order
Editing and deleting
Follow-up orders that have been created can be deleted or edited using the three-dot menu to the right of the respective entry.
To delete multiple follow-up orders at once, select the corresponding checkboxes and click the Delete button on the blue bar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
