Cleaners and team leaders can highlight areas on the app. To cater to different needs, this can be done using colours for area types, categories and activity types. For example, cleaners can see which areas only require a spot check or which area need to be cleaned with a machine.
Customers with the role project manager advanced or project manager can activate this function independently in the settings.
Preparation in the cockpit
The color selection is made in the cockpit. If you want to distinguish between different surface types or highlight them in the app, click on Surface Type in the Cleaning Process tab and set the colors here.
It's the same colours selection that you can use to distinguish the areas in the building plan in the web application.
Highlight cleaning category
To highlight a cleaning category you have to click on activity type and then on the category, which you would like to highlight.
Click on colour and choose the color bei using the slider.
Highlight activity type
Click on the activity type, which you would like to highlight. Click on colour and choose the colour by using the slider.
Set permissions and rules
In order for the cleaning staff to see the highlighted areas in the app, the checkbox must be selected in the settings under App at Color Selection.
Rules and permissions for coloring areas in the app can be set directly in the cockpit.
These rules can be defined for:
- No
- App users
- Cleaning tour
No: If No is selected, the settings for coloring the areas can only be made directly in the app. In the app, the cleaning staff can then decide for themselves whether they want the areas to be colored according to activity types, categories, or area types.
If one of the other two rules is selected, these settings can be made in the cockpit.
App user: If App user is selected, the settings for this level can be made directly in the App Functions tab under Color Selection. You can specify at which level (activity type, category, or area type) the areas should be colored in the app. If coloring is allowed for the respective app user, they can also continue to select their preferred coloring level in the app themselves.
The settings for each app user can be configured using the three-dot menu on the right. If the same rules apply to multiple app users, these can be set by selecting the boxes in front of the app users using the edit bar at the bottom of the screen.
If you configure the settings for each app user, the following edit screen appears:
The settings are specified here.
If, for example, area types are selected, those that are to be colored can be selected from the list of all area types. Multiple selections are possible here.
The same applies to categories and activity types.
At the end, you can choose whether or not the app user is allowed to make the setting in the app.
Cleaning tour: If cleaning tour is selected, the same settings and rules can be stored in the app using the same procedure as for app users, as well as allowing or prohibiting coloring in the app. In this case, simply for the respective cleaning tour.
Important information about coloring areas:
- Only those area types, categories, and activity types that have been assigned a color in the cockpit are available for selection.
- If several activity types are selected and several of them are active and scheduled at the same time on an area, the color of the activity that was stored first in the cockpit is displayed.
- If several categories are selected and several of them are active and scheduled at the same time on one area, the color is displayed on the category that was created first in the cockpit.
- Only areas on which a task is planned in the current tour are colored (e.g., not all offices, but only the planned offices).
- All areas that are not highlighted but are still planned remain red or blue (pending area).
