Area-independent elements are objects that are mobile and therefore cannot be assigned to a fixed area. These can be window fronts, projectors or radiators. In a hospital, for example, they are beds or infusion stands.
In order to schedule area-independent elements, a list of all elements to be cleaned must first be created in the element administration.
Creating items
Items are created in the Item management tab using the +Create new item button. To enable specific evaluations to be carried out later and to provide a quick overview of the items created, these are divided into groups. When creting an item, you must first create a group to which the item belongs.
The same applies to the category, in this example 'Beds'. To make the elements such as the areas unique, they must be given a unique name. Finally, the element type must be selected. This is a area type that has already been created in the cockpit.
Importing items
To avoid having to create each item individually, you can import them into the Cockpit via Excel upload.
In the Item management tab, you can download a template for importing by clicking the Download button. In Excel, you must enter the columns Group, Category, Item Name and Item type in the same way as for manual creation.
Once the import has been completed, you will see all created items in the item management:
Once items have been created, clicking the Download button will download a filled template.
