This function can be used to assign the individual areas to groups. If, for example, the cleaning of the areas is charged to the user, cost centres can be stored via this function and used to evaluate the cost accounting.
To use this function, please contact Customer Support. They will be happy to activate the function for you.
Area group catalog
In the Area groups level, the categories and associated groups to be asigned to the areas can be created in the Area group catalog tab.
Once the categories and groups have been created and assigned to areas, you can use the filter to search for specific categories and groups. By activating the checkbox With assignments, the system filters only for groups that are assigned to areas, and by activating the checkbox Without assignments, the system filters for groups that are not assigned to any areas.
Area Group Assignment
In this tab, you can assign groups to areas by uploading a file.
Use the Download button to download a list of all areas belonging to the economic entity. The categories already created in the cockpit are listed in columns. The corresponding group ccan now be entered in these columns for each area.
Once the areas have been assigned to a group, they can be uploaded using the Upload and Compare button. The comparison view lists all areas for which a group has been assigned, the area group has been changed, or the assignment has been deleted. The arrow on the right can be used to display a drop-down menu with detailed information.
The upload is completed when you click Save.
All areas that have been assigned to a group are now displayed in the table, and you can use the filters for specific attributes.
Changes to allocations can be made in the active version as well as in a planning version. If the changes are made in the active version, they are applied immediately. Changes in a planning versionare only applied when the planning version is activated.
