The cockpit users can be managed by soobr employees and by users with the roles ‘Project manager’ and ‘Project manager extended’.
Authorization structure
There are three attributes in the business entity, which have a significant impact on the authorizations:
- Owner
- Service provider
- Customer
A user can have one role for each attribute.
If a user has the role of an owner (A) and the role of a service provider (B), they will see:
1. All business entities that belong to service provider B, but not those that concern owner A. He sees these units with the rights of service provider B.
2. If the user also has roles for all business entities that belong to both service provider B and owner A, they receive the rights of owner A.
To summarize: The user's view and rights depend on the assigned roles and their combination.
Create / customize users
Add new authorization can be used to assign new authorizations per level.
The special business entity level can set a specific authorization for a single business entity.
As soon as the new user has been created, this user receives an e-mail to the address previously specified. This e-mail contains the user name, password and a link to the Cockpit. The new user now only has to log in and can get started.
Two-factor authentication
For soobr employees who can view all business entities, it is mandatory to use two-factor authentication. For customers, the function can be enabled if desired. If the SMS variant is selected, the cell phone number must be stored. For the token function, a soobr developer must create the QR tag.
Chat
For certain roles the chat can be activated. Only if the correct role is selected, the chat will be enabled.
If "show this user all business entities" is selected, the overlapping roles will be visible. This function may ONLY be used for soobr project managers. No customer may have this access.
