The basic configurations for quality control are explained below, and possible settings are shown.
Activation
Quality control is disabled by default and can be enabled independently by users with the roles of project manager or project manager extended.
Enabling this feature unlocks the quality activity type, which is then available for use.
Distinction between evaluation of quality criteria and evaluation of the performed services.
Quality control involves two types of checks, which can also be used in combination. You can create your own quality activity types, which allow for a standard assessment of general quality regardless of the actual activity types performed. Alternatively, the activity actually performed (e.g. 'emtying waste bins') can be assessed. No additional activity types need to be created for this purpose.
The type of activity to be checked is then defined in the filter settings when creating a quality control tour in the Area Completion filter.
Entry of quality control activity types
Quality activity types are created in the same way as cleaning activity types in the Cleaning Process > Activity Types level. When creating them, the cleaning type must then be changed to quality.
Here, we recommend creating a separate category for quality activity types. The category with the quality activity types must then be activated for the area types.
Quality control scale
The options Fulfilled/Not fulfilled and Numeric are available for evaluating performance. The two options can also be used in combination, but we do not recommend this.
Distinction between one-off quality control tours and quality control tour templates
There are two types of quality control tours available for use:
- One-off quality control tours; these must be created from scratch in the cockpit before each execution. Such a tour can be created using the + Create a new quality control tour button.
- Quality control tour templates; with this type of quality control tour, the filter settings made are saved. This means that these tours are available whenever there are areas to be inspected that correspond to the stored filter settings. Such a tour can be created using the + Create new template button.
Customize app user rights
Quality control tours can only be carried out if the app user has the necessary Quality role. This can be assigned individually or in addition to existing permissions.
User rights can be edited under the User Management menu item in the Cleaning Staff tab by clicking on the three-dot menu for the respective person.
Email settings for notifications
After completing a quality control tour, cockpit users can be notified by email that a quality control tour is ready for review. There are two options for this:
- If you would like to receive a notification with a compact overview of the control performed, in which the results are attached in a PDF file, you must enter your email address in the settings for the quality control feature.
- If you only want to receive a notification that a quality control tour has been completed, you can configure this setting in the notifications.
