The term cleaning frequency refers to the frequency with which the service types are performed. Thus, cleaning frequency represents a central element in cleaning planning.
Cleaning frequencies
In soobr, different types of cleaning frequencies are supported and used depending on the needs of the customer.
Day-fixed activity types
Activity types can be provided with a day-fixed cleaning frequency. Such activities are scheduled on fixed days and independently of other activities (see also article on scheduling algorithm). The system is therefore given the same number of days for the selected frequency on which this activity type must be scheduled.
In the following example, the activity type is scheduled with a cleaning frequency of 3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
If the frequency of an activity type corresponds to the number of weekdays in which cleaning takes place, no day fixation needs to be stored for this activity type.
Frequencies that require day fixation
With a 5 day week
Frequency | Details |
3x per week | Automatically set to Mon, Wed and Fri by default, can be adjusted. |
4x per week |
With a 6 day week
Frequency | Details |
4x per week | |
5x per week | Scheduled by default from Mon - Fri (without visible day fixings). If the scheduling is to take place on other days, the corresponding day fixings must be stored. |
With a 7 day week
Frequency | Details |
5x per week | Scheduled by default from Mon - Fri (without visible day fixings). If the scheduling is to take place on other days, the corresponding day fixings must be stored. |
6x per week | Scheduled by default from Mon - Sat (without visible day fixings). If the scheduling is to take place on other days, the corresponding day fixings must be stored. |
Activity types with access restriction
For activity types with access restriction, a frequency is set for an activity type and a higher number of days is selected on which the algorithm can schedule the activity type.
For example, in the following example, the frequency of 1x per week is set for the first activity type and it is specified that the activity type should be scheduled either on Tuesday or on Thursday. The activity type is therefore scheduled by the system 1x per week, either on a Tuesday or on a Thursday. In the following example, the second activity type is therefore scheduled once a week on a Monday, a Wednesday or on a Friday.
Services with access restrictions behave like unrestricted (free floating) activity types, with the restriction that they are only available for planning on the defined day.
Unrestricted (free floating) activity types
For unrestricted or free floating activity types, only a weekly frequency is set, but without specifying particular days of the week. This means that the planning algorithm can schedule these activity types on any day of the week and thus obtain the maximum degree of flexibility.
In the following example, the activity type "Refill the dispenser" is given a frequency of 1x per week with no restrictions on the days of the week on which the activity can be scheduled. This means that the activity type can be scheduled 1 x per week without regard to specific days of the week.
