Additional fields can be used to make individual additions in the cockpit. This can be used, for example, to structure, classify, and evaluate tours.
Customers with the role of project manager advanced or project manager can activate and configure the feature themselves in the settings.
Basic settings
To use the feature, it must be activated and configured. The following settings must be made.
Scope: Currently, this feature is only available at the tour level.
Field Name: Enter the name you want to give the field in the tour editing mask here.
Field Type: Here you can choose between dropdown (Simple), fixed values for entry, or free text, where individual text can be entered in the input field.
Options: Here you can store the values for the dropdown selection.
Value/Label: Click the Add Button to display the input fields for the value and label. If only a value is entered, the value will be displayed in the dropdown menu for selection. If a label is stored in addition to the value, it will be displayed in the dropdown menu for selection.
Below is an example of how the setting must be filled in if only values are used for classification

Once the default settings have been made, the setting can be made at tour level. When the editing window for a tour is opend, the new custom field is now displayed:
You can now select one of the predefined options from the drop-down menu and save the setting by clicking Save.
Setting at tour level with free text
To enter free text in the custom field, free text must be selected in the settings for the field type.
Now you can enter free text on the Tour level and save it by clicking Save.
Application examples:
- Summary of tours under your own terms for evaluating target and actual times (e.g., per team).
- Storage of necessary skills or qualifications for a tour (e.g., machine training).
